The Australian Ceramics Association is a national, non-profit organisationrepresenting the interests of practicing professional ceramists, studentsof ceramics and all those interested in Australian ceramics. It recognisesall expressions of ceramic practice, and aims to support and promoteAustralian ceramic art and professional ceramic practice nationallyand internationally. The Association incorporates the Australian CeramicsAlliance which specifically lobbies for quality ceramics education,nationally.
About Us - The Potters' Society of Australia was formed in 1956 as the first ceramics organisation in Australia
- In Feb 2006 the name 'The Potters' Society of Australia was changed to The Australian Ceramics Association
- The ACA is a national, non-profit organisation representing the interests of practicing professional ceramists, students of ceramics, and all those interested in Australian ceramics.

Committee The Australian Ceramics Association is managed by a voluntary committee elected by the members at the AGM held in November. All members are encouraged to contribute to the planning and realising of Association events. Meetings Committee management meetings are held at The Powerhouse Museum, Ultimo,Sydney at 6.30pm.
