My work has a strong emphasis on tableware which has evolved and draws reference from wide open waterways displayed in bowls and landscape platters to nooks and crannies where mangroves abound. I have been passionate about wood firing for past 25 years and have a bourry box which I salt glaze in and an anagama kiln to rely on natural ash glaze effects. I make my own clay bodies for both kilns and include local materials in clays and glazes. I exhibit regularly and open my workshop twice yearly. Winter Warming in July school holidays and Annual Open Day 2nd weekend in December. Visitors always welcome best to phone first. |
