For the last 23 years I have worked as a ceramic artist involved in producing and selling raku pottery. I work from home in my gorgeous sandstone studio in the lush hillside of Maleny, hinterland to the beautiful Sunshine Coast, QLD. My work is highly influenced by the Australian wildlife that surrounds my property. My whimsical green frogs that make people smile… I use the method of firing raku to transform clay into old rustic buckets. Cream cans, taps and t-pots, boots and watering cans, thus have become my signature. |
