The aim of the group is to promote pottery generally to the wider community. Meetings include a demonstration / presentation: First Wednesday of each month (excluding January) 7.30pm 1st Floor Cronulla Arts Society, Surf Road, Cronulla “Exhibiting members” are able to sell their work at a number of sale venues throughout the year. In addition some members enter local and international competitions, while others sell their work through galleries. The group conducts an annual National Pottery Competition and Exhibition. The 41st Port Hacking Competition in 2001 attracted over 180 entries, including some from Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and all States of Australia. |
