Sturt is seeking expressions of interest from potters or ceramic artists to take up residency positions at Sturt Pottery for periods of three months or six months. The aim of this program is to provide the opportunity for a changing group of ceramic artists to work alongside each other, under the creative and supportive environment of Sturt. Two residencies may be accepted concurrently. Each year several residencies will be awarded to applicants specifically to develop a body of work, which can be produced and made at Sturt during the residency time, and then promoted and sold through Sturt Gallery. Residencies commencing: February 2010, May 2010, July 2010, October 2010. Applications can be sent immediately. Residencies are open to all those who work in clay – functional or non-functional work, thrown or hand-built.
