Making A Cloth Covered, Timber Board To Model/roll Clay On
Hi there. I have made a couple of versions of a cloth covered board, suitable for rolling slabs on to prevent sticking, etc. you know.
But the fabric does not stay as taught as that on ready made boards.
does anyone know the name of the most suitable fabric, and maybe also where it can be purchased from?

I coverd my board in upholstery vinyl using the cloth backing side up. You can purchase from most material shops. Hope this is useful.
